ABOUT THE RELEASE
Teeko is a San Francisco based producer & DJ and half of the the future funk duo Starship Connection. On this collaboration he’s joined by native Bay Area funkster Diamond Ortiz (MoFunk) for a fine serving of synthesized boogie/funk fresh out of California. Teeko performs on a Roland JX3P, Mini-Moog Voyager, & Talkbox. Diamond Ortiz performs vocals with a Microkorg XL with a Rocktron Banshee Talkbox. Real Ones is a lively vocoder slapper written & performed by Teeko with DJ friendly instrumental on the B side.

Apes of Wrath
We’re THRILLED to announce the deluxe reissue of Fatboi Sharif’s debut, Ape Twin, fully remastered with new additional songs by the mystifying New Jersey wrecking ball. The release sheds light on Sharif’s enigmatic early rise (apocalyptic tracks of fire and brimstone) bookended by more recent work (layered distorted vocals that decay into oblivion) featuring a stable of young snipers; Lungs, Nick Jackelson, Raiden, and the great Roper Williams. The front and back cover art features pen-drawings by the inimitable Henry Lee Foster. Expected release date: late 2024.
