ABOUT THE RELEASE
Teeko is a San Francisco based producer & DJ and half of the the future funk duo Starship Connection. On this collaboration he’s joined by native Bay Area funkster Diamond Ortiz (MoFunk) for a fine serving of synthesized boogie/funk fresh out of California. Teeko performs on a Roland JX3P, Mini-Moog Voyager, & Talkbox. Diamond Ortiz performs vocals with a Microkorg XL with a Rocktron Banshee Talkbox. Real Ones is a lively vocoder slapper written & performed by Teeko with DJ friendly instrumental on the B side.

NTTG is proud to present “Courage Under Fire” and “Freedom Now,” a 45 showcasing astute production and lyricism from Mumbles solo LP, Illuminations/Transformations. Renowned beatsmith out of Richmond, Virginia, Ohbliv, has many monikers (Bradford Thomas, Dark Twaine, PANGEYA) but is widely known for his oddly hypnotic, mesmeric visions of a musical utopia, where hip-hop dances with RnB, flirts with jazz, and travels with ambient music. Timeless and ethereal; traditional but not purist. Sometimes experimental, these healing tones are visceral cosmic sound therapy for generations.
