Casual Crypt is the side-project of Li Xi’s synth & drone specialist, James Vernon.\u00a0 Vernon rises to the occasion to share his own songwriting & musicianship by writing all originals and playing all the instruments. The self titled debut was recorded in Vernon’s bedroom to 4 track Tascam tape recorder\u00a0 and by going to tape before mixing in a digital audio workstation he developed his own process to make what he calls dreamy “odd pop”.
