Sydney community broadcasters 2SER FM celebrates 15 years of its weekly Friday afternoon mixshow Groove Therapy this month, making it Australia’s longest running weekly deejay mixshow.

Longtime Sydney DJ Shan Frenzie started the Groove Therapy radio show in early 2002. Groove Therapy has always been about mixing Hip Hop, Soul, Funk, Disco, House, Beats & Breaks (and everything in between) in a meticulously crafted continuous mix style – heavy with exclusive edits and mastermixes. It’s where old school and new school sounds collide.

To celebrate the 15th year anniversary, Frenzie has produced a special master mix episode, featuring some heavy weight producers and editors: Fellow 2SER deejays MEEM and PARIS GROOVESCOOTER are joined by Brisbane’s BLUNTED STYLUS, Auckland radio presenter DJ HUDGE (George FM), and Oakland Hip Hop legend DJ PLATURN (The 45 Sessions). Each flex their skills on the editing block with an exclusive prepared fifteen minute megamix, all mini works of highly produced cut & paste art masterpieces, in the style of Steinski, DJ Shadow & Cut Chemist – Not to be missed!
