B. Lewis + Needle to the Groove to release his hit single “Strange Things” as super limited 7” vinyl release.
Few artists have both a penchant for song lyrics as well as song construction. Beyond that, few multi-instrumentalists can also helm all recording and mixing aspects in the studio— B. Lewis, however, does it all.
Despite having a heavy hand in producing projects, Lewis has also recently honed in his approach as a singer-songwriter as well— the culmination of it all will arrive on his yet-to-be-titled debut LP.
An alum of Ex’Pression College of Digital Arts, Lewis has been producing for almost a decade now, and his uniquely soulful electronic music has enabled him to collaborate with Chris Brown, Grieves, Brasstracks, Bad Rabbits, Teeko, Tessa, and others. His beat-centric work has been compared to Flying Lotus and Shlohmo, with poly rhythmic drum programming, precise sample chops, synths, and touches of swing. As a multi-faceted producer however, his colorful range extends also to rock, funk, pop, hip-hop, EDM, and soul.
“Strange Things” was released summer of 2017 via Bandcamp and Spotify, with an overwhelmingly positive response, garnering over 1 million streams on Spotify alone. “Strange Things” is written, performed by, recorded & mixed all by B. Lewis.
Needle to the Groove Entertainment is proud to partner with B. Lewis to release “Strange Things” as a super limited 7” vinyl release. The 45 will be limited to 250 black vinyl and 250 white vinyl; both with full color jackets. Due out summer 2018! Pre-order info available soon.
